How can MSE expect good reactions on PVP  when their game has mechanics as levels and boosted stats.

You want a fair PVP match ?
Make Antag matches independant from those bonuses or like in some mmo's equalize players stats.
It will at least diminish a bit the unfairness of the games and give more oportunities for high level players to play.

I suppose it's normal to be pissed off when ya play against antags or raiders with 100 levels above yours and be killed with 1-2 rapid fire bullets or 1 punch.

First of all thanks for all the answers Tenka.
Always good to have some feedback on the players issues.

Now I can understand that some people will never get pleased no matter the answers.

But it's a bit paradoxal to see people asking for answers, MSE giving them and see the same ones telling that words don't matter...

Well as someone already said MSE isn't EA or DE. They're a small team, corrections can't be done as fast as in big companies.

Changing things in game in a hurry is as bad as having to wait. Breaking the game mechanics with a rushed patch can be as damaging.

It can be hard and time is a key point for Spacelords futur, but people need to learn to be at least a bit more patient.

Things have improved loads no matter what people say. I played game since day 1 and I can attest it. It even had made me stop for a few months waiting for some changes, but always with the intention to come back.

Lately after some long blind walk, I can see a tiny light at the end of the tunnel.
Will it grow or fade...time will tell but at least, in my opinion, MSE is aiming at the right direction.

Yeah !! Finally some clear goals and steps we can aim and wait for.

Loving the customization announcement, guilds, new baddies...

Another step in the right direction.

Now waiting for some adjustements, in the meantime, on the less fun parts of the game (equilibrium, better grouping, and so on)

Anyways great announcements.

Curious about the Aurora Specters. They mention that's for the 4 vs 1 play style...so will it be antag specific only chars or something like that ? Or a roll inversion : a big baddy hunted by raiders ala Evolve ?

Hello Tooeasy,

I think people understand how you feel, that' s not the problem here.
You have to understand that this particular topic has been discussed a hundred times already here and sometimes with a bit more of structure than your own arguments. So keep in mind that people are probably a bit fed up of exposing their aguments again and again and again.

I encourage you to read one of those and see what people had come with. As someone mentionned devs read and follow the forums, so the only thing we ca hope for is waiting and see if all the discussion had a repercussion that will satisfy the most of us.

Remember that changing videogame mechanics take time and energy...specifically the big changes that are asked by the community. Apparently there's a rumor about an Arena mode, maybe it will be the start of a good path for the game.

P.S. : In the futur try to avoid the : "the game is no fun except when I one shot low levels" stuff, it discredits the idea of being exchanging viewpoints with a good player/person if that's your way of having fun...

Same here ! She looks awesome.

Well next one will probably be Schneider as we can see him in the character selection screen in the dev streaming.

And really hope she will come after.
For sure we will not get her mech as it is, but they can figure out something about how to use it as her special move.
