I haven't played paladins in a while but I liked their com system. There were like 60 combos with the D-Pad that were useful strategically but also just friendly and funny memes too. Granted it took memorization and practice but as someone who doesn't like using a mic, I loved it.

With all due respect, Ojuel, you're missing the point. The comment about a noob being unable to figure out how to extract was simply an arbitrary example of why it seems so counter-intuitive to not have a simple voice/text chat system. I could list dozens of similar examples that have nothing to do with extraction, where just having the ability to type or say a single sentence would have turned a complete loss into a victory. Again, the devs have even said themselves that they know the players want a better communication system, and the recent change was not that. What's worse is that I still have never seen an MSE post even attempting to explain why there wasn't a chat system on this game from day 1. If you want this game to survive, you guys need to start taking steps in the right direction, the direction the actual players want, and adding voice and/or text chat would be a huge one.
I think at some point we explained the approach we took in order to decide an ingame comunication system that'd suit the game. If we did not, I can totally explain it now!
The current ingame communication system is meant to work as a mission context-dependant way of sending messages that: works in all kind of matches (both in uni-platform and cross-platform matches), has no language barriers + doesn't allow for an inappropriate use (eg harassment, saying mean words...etc.).
In the stream were they addressed this they said they made Schneider weaker and lowered his health so in future updates they can increase his drone both in damage and health I imagine to make him a sort of glass cannon (or more of one sense I kinda already saw him as that). However, I never really played with him. Not because I saw him as boring or weak I just never felt confident with him. I tried him out after the update and I just don't like him now. Before I could understand his usefulness but now he is just terrible. You are basically forced to use him as a sort of gimmick sniper and it just doesn't work. I feel Schneider is in the same group with Ginebra now were they over nerfed. Yes they can still be useful in a mission but now there are raiders that can do their job and more.Yes. It seems like we're gonna have to wait for their future updates to him and see where it takes him as a hopefully, once-again useful tool.
Make the drone weaker if you want to nerf Scheneider, but stop making him static.THIS. You guys nerfed the wrong area. He is OP in damage to make up for the fact that he is very easy to beat in any fight. It's the reason I mained him for so long. He was an odd challenge to play vs an antag and on maps people told me never to play him on . A lot of people never really played him in the first place. Now if he remains like this they really won't.
@Tekato, fair point, which game did you develop? so I can compare and understand your point of view better.

I quit playing months ago despite absolutely loving the game when I first picked it and being passionate about the potential it had to be something truly incredible. Why did I quit? Super easy to answer. The playerbase had been almost entirely in unison telling the devs exactly how to fix and improve the game to polish it into the gem we all (at the time) knew it could be. The devs instead literally never once listened and instead pandered to the demands of the game's most toxic minority that made up some 5% of the population at best. Then once the playerbase started to nosedive as a result of them seemingly intentionally spitting in the face of their fans they went into cash squeeze mode and since then every update has been designed to create new paywalls and get the few people left to spend more and more money just to have the hope of enjoying the game. I genuinely think MSE knows this game is doomed already and behind the scenes is just trying to figure out how to milk any money they still can from it before it completely shuts down.
This is why the new pot is useless. Pre July 2nd patch, if you were a serious gamer you could make 100k gold in a day, a hell of a lot of XP and ok faction points as the payout was ok. If you lost a blueprint/gold/faction point/XP multiplier award mission, you played until you did win.
Mercury Steam, for some reason only want casual gamers, hence why they made all the changes. My advice for making gol is to get in a guild and have all payers carry a Bounty weapon they have max points in, especially with the new system. It really sucks but that's just the way it is. I've lost a couple of daily pots, both also with BP's in.
Now it's not a joke anymore. Spent over 300k on rerolls for Doldren and I'm pretty much getting the same cards over and over. There hasn't been ONE CQC card drop in well over 50 rerolls. This is definitely a bug. Constantly getting URGENCY, VENDETTA, SKILL & CONCENTRATION or the rare version occasionally.

2. Payto win part sucks yes but you can still level pretty fast. I already made posts here and on twitter as far as the negative so get with the program or the game will just die.
3. I want people to exploit the system as best they can as there are still people playing. If you want change to a game you like then stay active in the community. Otherwise things can get worse~
