Well, Diversity doesn't make a game or a story better or worse. That being said, Spacelords does a nice job of presenting its characters and their personalities.

Hm, I gotta disagree with you there. I think adding different perspectives/insights that come from diversity into a story can make it better. But even if diversity doesn't inherently make a story better, I think its great to add a diverse roster into games so more people can relate to different aspects of different characters, ya know?

Now that I have polished up my first raider concept I am working on a Fifth Council raider who is black male. I doubt MSE will consider it sense I feel they haven't considered my last one

Nice, love me some 5th Council. But yeah, I don't think MSE takes fan requests for character concepts. Besides there being legal issues with that, I think they've said before they have a pretty strict vision for the game.

I would love to see a black guy join the roster. I think the diversity is a pretty strong point for Spacelords so an expansion of that would be great!

I really love the story/characters in this game, almost to the point of wishing it was a single player story driven game. That being said, I can't imagine a new campaign will be coming in the next few months. It seems like the devs are still working hard to fix issues and they haven't completed the road map yet. That last cutscene definitely made me hungry for more campaign though.

You guys are taking this name thing way too seriously. And I say that as someone who has probably way more time invested than anyone in this thread. It's a cheesy outlandish game, and suddenly we're concerned over something sounding silly?

That interview was really good! I highly recomend everyone to check it out. Dude seems really passionate about the game. The clips of the new campaign look really cool too, and I love the design of the new character.

PSN players from different regions cannot join teams together, only matchmake like cross-platform. This is due to the EU and US PSN stores giving different "products" despite it being the same game. If an EU player sends you an invite, the invite will just say "view in PS store" as if you don't own the game, unfortunately

Man, that's a shame. I think I'm move over to PC gaming when the next consoles come out. Sony has been holding everyone back with cross platform gaming too. Is the PC version's matchmaking not region locked then?

Although I like the name Raiders of the Broken Planet more, I think that name is a little obscure to catch on in the mainstream as opposed to Space Lords. Space Lords sounds like a parody of a campy 90's action movie, and the game itself feels like a campy 90's movie so it's kinda perfect. Especially with the current fad of nostalgia. Idk, kinda hated it at first but the more I think about it, the more I like it.

As much as I love the game in its current state, there is so much room for improvement. I really hope they go the warframe route of ftp. Seems like they're stepping that direction.
