I would maybe add that when your're distracting Kuzzmann during the second phase it is imperative that you stay unhidden as long as possible, because he tends to lose aggro and just waltz back to the person that is pulling the lever (that's just my observation, results may vary).
This mission went from mildly demanding to severely troublesome. I kind of understand a friend that started Spacelords recently and regrettably stopped after first day... He drew Alien Myths. Between increased spawn rates, snipers, no communication and Kuzzmann generally being tanky as hell, those levers were proverbial nail in the coffin... The way it is now hardly feels like a mission that a starter should be thrown into.
Tried to convince him to come back, but he said he would rather play Dark Souls with Deprived, than try this again....
