Traits such as Bounty Hunter and Affiliation do not give anywhere near the listed benefit. At reward selection screen the mouseover tooltip shows how much your reward has been increased by weapon properties. For example one of my Harec weapons is configured to give 22% extra gold at the end of a mission. Its more like a 2% bonus thats actually given.
