Honestly there's just nothing about this game that makes much sense to me. It's a third person shooter where melee will beat out 90 percent of the guns in game. I like the idea and all but I think it really needs to be toned down so that I'm relying on my gun for damage and using melee more as a means of finishing a low health target to get ammo and power up. Instead of just relying on melee and only using my gun when a target just happens to be out of reach

What characters are you playing? As depending on your character you need to mix your abilities, guns, and melee. The point IS to mix it up.  Some character like Harec and Konstantine rely on the guns more, while say Lycus with his shield and shotguns relies a bit more on melee.

Especially when facing an Antagonist that knows what they're doing. Grabs can beat a gun up close unless they just punch you in the face. I dunno I mix it up as I need to depending on my character.
