Is there a way to report a player?
on: June 30, 2018, 07:32:16 PM
I just had a match where a player as a raider, where a player disconnected twice, and constantly kept jumping off a cliff, but still came to take the rewards at the end of the mission.

So, is there a way to report such activity?

Probably should clarify that, what I meant was, is there a in game way to report a player. I doubt that Sony would care enough to take any actions even if I did report it to them.

Were you guys going against an antagonists playing Alicia with R&R? You guys pass a surrender against that R&R? Probably why he was suiciding.
/S... (or is it?)
That, or he could just be trying to lower his MMR, if it gets too high the game starts to suck on so many levels. Suiciding is an unfortunate side effect of the MMR and Weapon Balancing.

If you know the players name and remember what map, and the time and date you can send them an e-mail and they will respond. The community ended up "correcting" the notorious AFK Leecher who's name we shall not say. But his name says he's from hell and he is fast. So it works.

This has happened only once before, and no, we didn't have an antagonist at that time. That's why I thought it was weird.

And yeah, I know how high mmr can make missions incredibly high, but when that happens, I usually just chill with the raiders as antagonist.

I don't think high mmr is a valid excuse to sabotage the experience of three other people.

You are right, the "healthy" way to lower MMR is as a friendly antagonist. That's what I do.

And the other way to lower mmr is do plenty of matchmaking with randoms. Once you hit mmr 50-60 with matchmaking you will get level 1's that quit quickly and level 60's that appear as lost as the level 1's and because of the difficulty of the enemies you will get overwhelmed quickly. Its what I have come to call, 'maintaining my mmr' or the 'goldilocks mmr' it never gets too high or too low because you can always count on players that have no business on certain maps being there to drag the whole team down.
I realized I got completely off track and didnt really address the topic as well as I intended. Long story short, being a 'friendly' antag is one way to lower mmr and the other way is to let random matchmaking do it for you. Jumping as a group is another way, but it is very uncool to suicide by yourself and ruin the match for everyone else.  :o

You get more rewards as a friendly antag, not to mention you get your affinity as well. I've been in random queues at 40%-50% MMR, you "win" at a 5.5 to 6.5 rating and get "rewarded" for "winning" and get 1,500 gold, feels like losing anyways. I get 2,200 gold losing as an Antagonists, LOL. Not to mention it's just a horrible experience when you go through the high solo queue MMR. I suggest playing as friendly antag for anyone wanting to lower MMR, it's more lucrative for both you and the raiders.
