Hades Betrayal Campaign Coming to Raiders of the Broken Planet on April 4th. The game’s third campaign comes accompanied by a totally overhauled progression system and new look and feel that changes the way Raiders of the Broken Planet is played!
Hades Betrayal, the third premium campaign for Raiders of the Broken Planet, will be launching on April 4th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Just like the previous campaigns, Alien Myths and Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal will be available to purchase as a stand-alone campaign for just €/$/£9.99.
Hades Betrayal includes four new, action-packed missions, all playable in either single-player, 4 player co-op or the intense 4 v 1 Antagonist mode, pitting the Raiders against the most powerful military organization in the galaxy: The Hades Division. Outnumbered and outgunned by General Krauser’s army, the Raiders’ only chance is to convince the mercenary outfit’s chief of security, Ayana Kwena, to betray the Hades Division and help defeat them from the inside, an impossible task for Harec and his allies.
“In Hades Betrayal we delve into the military might of the Hades Division, and their plan to establish supremacy over all the Broken Planet,” said Enric Álvarez, Game Director. “The four intense missions included highlight the bitter rivalry that exists between the Division and the other factions, who are fighting over control of the Aleph production - something the Raiders must exploit if they want to stand any chance of succeeding in their mission!”
Hades Betrayal’s launch will be accompanied by a major overhaul to Raiders of the Broken Planet’s progression and reward system, along with a visual redesign and inclusion of many new game features. Players will now be able to rank up to unlock new rewards, and with the new Forge system they can customize weapons obtained during the missions.
The Antagonist role has also been redesigned, with them now receiving similar rewards to those obtained by the Raiders - Experience, Gold, Faction Points and Weapon Blueprints - based on the player’s performance during the game.
“When Hades Betrayal arrives, Raiders of the Broken Planet will effectively be a different game to the one we launched half a year ago,” adds Álvarez. “The changes we are introducing to the progression and reward systems are a direct result of player feedback gathered over the last six months. The fans are truly passionate about the game and being in touch with them daily allowed us to dramatically and radically improve our offering. Raiders of the Broken Planet is now a much better game because of this. We also hope this shows our unflinching commitment with Raiders. The game will continue to receive new and better content over time as we work with our dedicated player base”
Raiders of the Broken Planet is available now on Steam, the Xbox Store –Xbox One & Windows10- and the PlayStation Store. The free Eternal Soldier campaign contains two missions, seven characters and sets the stage for the incredible story to follow. The first two campaigns of the 2017 Season, Alien Myths and Wardog Fury, are available to purchase for €/$/£9.99 each, including the lethal sniper Shae and the bestial Loaht as exclusive characters. The third campaign, Hades Betrayal, will release on April 4th featuring the noble Ayana Kwena as an exclusive character.
