If its meant to Crit 0 times in a 30 min match it is working fine. Otherwise MSE, in North America, on the Sony PlayStation 4 the Vortex does NOT CRIT. I second Brentwoody. Used it half a dozen times. It doesnt do it. Also leveled up my crit chance to max ( For my forge level 19%) If u r gonna make us grind for these weapons, ATLEAST have them work.

It is pretty good without the crit, imo.  I just think the Crit will bring it over the top and make her wreck.

Hi. I, just wanna do a follow up to this post.

I have to say i never had problems with the crit, and with only 4% crit chance (the weapon base crit i think) my weapon crit fairly often (as i show on my screenshot above, second reply of the post).

Ok, so, y rebuilt the weapon last night and raise the critic chance to 10% and as i espected i do more critical shots.


In this video you can see i do a total of  28 critical hits in 16 min.

I use this cards who i roll and lock before the last major update.

So, i guess what is left is wait for the people affected of the "no crit bug" to try this cards (if they can) and see if they can crit, if not, well that may mean the problem is located on theirs accounts.

Or maybe not. Maybe they have see the problem solved but just dont tell the devs the problem is solved.
Or everyone know the problem is now patched and i don't know it because was announced on discord and i, who dont use it, dont notice it.

Actually you can see two double crit hit on minute 13:48 and 13:50 of the video.

Arnoldcat thanks for the info. I can clearly see the critical hits in your screenshots. All I can say is that my Vortex has 16% critical hit propability and I have yet to see it Crit a single time...Ever. Im on PS4 on the NA server and as far as I know it is the only gun that just does not critical hit for me at all.

I've never had it. The J Wheel. K8. Loaht guns, smoking Daisy, ayana guns nor the push portion of the sigh.   All the aoe/effect guns that should critical do not seem to do it at all. My crit probability is 20% on vortex. Not once.

Going to add that I also do not see any AoE crits, ever. I built my Vortex with MAX critical chance, and it crits never. I built K8 with some crit damage, but I have never once seen the crit actually activate. Also on NA, PS4

I believe crit bug is appearing when host is on another platform.
