Accepted the game. Before get to choose a character get disconnected. On the main menu says "Game in progress, want to reconnect?"
Hit "Accept".  Connecting... unable to connect, back to main menu. Again says "Game in progress, want to reconnect?"
Hit "Accept".  Connecting... unable to connect, back to main menu.

And it goes over and over. And the worst part is that after I get tired of this and hit cancel the game calls me a thrower and says I won't be able to connect again at all for a while... And sends me into an offline mode.

I am a new player and I want to play and this is just so frustrating T_T
Happened twice yesterday and again just now... I don'y know what to do. Please help.

Same here, I have to keep going because I don't want the penalty. I find that if accepting reconnect doesn't help you have to quit the game and restart it and then reconnect. Sometimes this works.

Yeah, it always irritates me when after like a dozen failed re-connect attempts the game also threatens me with a penalty and makes me wait another 5 minutes or so just for the heck of it.
Thank you on the "quit and restart the game" tip, I'll give it a try.
