My Spacelord version is russian. I have a friends from around the world(most of them from usa). While they invite me to their team Im could'nt join invitation. It caused the error. Why the game even had a regional block?

Same region players can form groups together but different region players can only join through matchmaking . I too wonder why a regional block's in place but if you need someone to play with , I can . I may even introduce you to some russian Spacelords (pun intended) in the long run .  Here's my IP : blazeman-18- on PS4 and I'm coming from Greece .

TL:DR : You can form a group exclusively (in your case) with Europeans .

The game itself doesn't have a region block, that's Sony. They have different PSN stores and each region's store is technically a different "version" of the game. You can matchmake but can't use invites. As much as it sucks, this is out of MercurySteam's hands.

So grouping on Steam and Xbox is not that much of an issue
