Why?
It's the only chance players get to capitalise on rewards using bounty and affiliation weapons. There's also a HIGH PROBABILITY of them already having all BP's for that character. And worse, if you don't get the BP, it goes into the next day pot. This is the most opportune time to use a Bounty and/or affiliation weapon.

Put BP's on the match after dailies.
Better still, get rid of Prizes galore and all updates after and give us back our 8 hour rotations.

but they could had a small chance to have BP when winning against antag.
something like 20% / 20%. increased by 1 percent for 10points of the missions mmr.
first roll is to know if you have a obtained a BP and the second one if it's a gold one (and of course the obtention roll based on score then).
so you'll have a BP every 5 wins against antag, or so, and rare BP every 25 wins against or so.

it will be far to unbalance the reward amount as they want them since prizes galore, while it will still be a nice surprise to see them poping.

and the non obtained BP after a score roll are redirected to the pot.

Marcus there going to change the way guns are built in the Heavy Metal update which is right after the current Master of puppets update. Basically no more BP in general, or so they say.
